S01 - E04: Preparing for the Bombers
As war loomed, Eric's family had an Anderson Shelter installed at the bottom of their garden and his Dad became an Air Raid Precautions Warden and, as he relates in this episode, he and his sister were to be evacuated from London.
S01 - E03: Build-up to War
Eric was four years old when UK Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, returned from visiting Hitler and declared they had reached an agreement achieving, "Peace in our time". Despite being so young, Eric still remembers how his mother reacted when this was reported on the wireless (as radio was called in those days).

In Episode 02 Eric runs through Adolf Hitler's rise to power. Eric was born in 1933, the year Hitler achieved his goal of becoming Chancellor of Germany and began building the war machine that would later bomb Eric's school.
