As young children, Eric and his sister Kitty were evacuated during the Second World War to live with strangers in Wales. Brought back to London by their parents, they were present at the infamous Sandhurst Road School bombing on 20 January 1943. Kitty was killed and Eric seriously injured.
This book tells their story and includes details Eric has pieced together since regarding the events that conspired to bring that fateful day about.
